The Route The Egrets Way Dont worry, if you make this mistake like I did, its only a short walk along this road before you are bombarded with South Downs Way signage. You then have an exhilarating finish over Mount Caburn that brings you directly down into the part of Lewes with the best tea options (Cliffe High Street).
